Wondering where to buy lights for a Ceramic Christmas tree (find your tree here)? Not to worry. It’s actually a lot easier than you think to find places that supply these lights. In this post, I’ll show you where to find lights and other accessories for your ceramic tree.
Many of these options are already included in my blog post over here, but I’ll try to add a few different options to this guide as well.
Buy them online
Strange enough, not everyone wants to buy Ceramic tree accessories or even the tree online. I’ve previously even received emails from people asking me questions about fixing their tree, how to fix it, where to find this and that. Clearly, there isn’t that much information available about these types of trees online.
Some people like to see the product, hold and feel it before buying. There’s nothing wrong with that, but for specific products, it causes some issues. Ceramic lights aren’t something that you’ll find around every corner.
Your best bet is to buy your new lights online at either Amazon or eBay. There are a few other online stores selling these products, but you’ll get a better variety when purchasing from Amazon or eBay. Most of them come from Chinese suppliers anyway.
My ceramic Christmas tree lights and accessories guide (seen here) will definitely help if you’re okay with buying online. Keep in mind that these lights don’t really cost much. We’re talking in the $10 range most of the time, so there’s not much risk.
Alternatives to buying online
Local arts and crafts shops
You could start by visiting some local arts and crafts shops in your area, maybe they’ll have some lights in stock. They might even be able to order some lights for you. If that doesn’t work, I would consider to put the word out that you’re looking for lights or replacement parts. This gets me to my next option:
Facebook groups, Classified websites, friends & family
Every town has a Facebook group. Just create a post and tell them that you are looking for replacement lights and if they know where you can get them. Maybe you’ll need to buy an old tree to get the lights.
You can also post a “wanted” ad on a classifieds website asking for something similar. Lastly, your friends and family might also be a good option to try. They could have some spare lights lying around that you can have.
Conclusion
In the end, I prefer shopping for them online. You get to compare all the different light shapes and sizes, of which there are many. You can also save a lot of time in doing so.
